Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As you all know, our 2014 ministry theme for New Mercies is “A Life of Praise.” Psalms 100:4 says “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.” I pray you have been blessed as you have been focusing on living a life of praise.

Psalms 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.” We have to come to a place as believers that praise is a lifestyle and not something we do only on Sunday Morning. The simple fact that God has given us another day of life on this earth is reason enough to give Him praise, on a continual basis.

As we enter into this 40 day consecration period, it is my prayer that we reflect upon the sacrifice of our Savior at the cross; continue to give God praise for all the marvelous and miraculous works He has done; and, grow even closer to Him. No matter what 2014 has brought you, we have a reason to praise the Lord. I hope these daily devotionals minister to your spirit and help you realize how God is working in your life.

I am honored to be your Pastor and look forward to celebrating the goodness of the Lord with you.

Forever Christ’s,
Sr. Pastor Jesse Curney, III
