Transforming the World with a Transformed People.
"But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too. Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king—Jesus.” And they troubled the crowd and the rulers of the city when they heard these things. So when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.” - Acts 17:5-9 NKJV
Greetings In The Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I greet you in the Majestic name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
This is truly an exciting time for New Mercies as we begin this New Year. God has done above and beyond what we could even imagine in 2005, and we are believing Him for even greater works in 2006!
Last year God placed it on my heart that the body of Christ, move into a spiritual transformation that would change the world. I understood that this could not occur until the body of Christ was first changed. Now that we have gone through a year of transformation it is the call of God that we begin to impact the world.
Therefore, our theme for 2006 is “Transforming the World with a Transformed People.” Acts 17 ( emphasis on verse 6) “But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, "These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.”
As the body of Christ, we must do our part in spreading the gospel. Through our courage and faith lives will be transformed. Biblical history reveals that the early christians had a reputation for evangelism, and this resulted in revolutionizing lives, social barriers becoming non existent and people were moved to worship. So join me as we work to turn the world upside down in 2006!
Forever Christ's,
