Kenya has endured a hunger crisis and prolonged droughts that are affecting the well-being and livelihoods of families across the country. Millions of vulnerable communities are in need of humanitarian assistance. Food insecurity is a primary concern for many Kenyan families, and people lack access to clean water. Thousands of children under the age of 5 and people living with disability are malnourished. In response to the hunger crisis in Kenya, World Vision has equipped communities with cash vouchers, food distribution, water trucking, and health and nutrition programs. We've also supported regreening projects to nurture food production and help build resiliency against weather shocks. In 2022, approximately 3 million people – including 2.2 million children – were impacted by the support of World Vision and our partners.
