Thanksgiving is a season of gratitude, and this year the Outreach ministry wants to share God’s goodness with our neighbors. Through Share the Harvest, we’re collecting food and volunteers to provide complete Thanksgiving boxes for 150 families in our community.
Every can, every box, and every hour you give helps put a warm meal on someone’s table. Here’s how you can be part of it.
Key dates
- Donations accepted: Sunday, November 1 – Sunday, November 22
- Volunteer sign-up deadline: Sunday, November 15
- Packing Day: Saturday, November 21, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall
- Box distribution: Tuesday, November 24

Please drop non-perishable items in the donation bins by the main lobby doors. These are our most-needed items:
For the Thanksgiving meal
- Canned vegetables (green beans, corn, sweet potatoes)
- Boxed stuffing mix and gravy mix
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Canned cranberry sauce
For the week ahead
- Rice, pasta and pasta sauce
- Peanut butter, cereal and oatmeal
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Grocery store gift cards (drop off at the Welcome Center)
Please, no glass jars, expired items or homemade food.
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7
