Our Mission:

To create discipleship and social opportunities for singles—whether by choice or circumstance—to grow in Christ within a like-minded community.

Who’s Welcome?

ALL singles! Whether you're single, never married, divorced, widowed, in a relationship, or engaged, you belong here. In the words of Pastor Curney, “If you’re not married, you are Single!”

Missions’ Ministry

The Mission Ministry at New Mercies is all about answering God’s call to make disciples of all nations. We are committed to serving both locally and globally, sharing the love of Christ, and spreading the gospel through outreach, service and missionary work. Whether through hands-on service projects, community engagement, or supporting global missions, we are here to make a lasting impact on the world for the Kingdom of God.

Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry actively serves to bridge the gap between the church and the community. The Ministry visits the local Extended Stay locations and the surrounding neighborhoods to greet and fellowship with the residents. This opportunity allows the team members to empower people about using their life experiences to win souls for the glory of God.

Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry provides an opportunity to spread hope and God’s love to incarcerated individuals through bi-weekly Bible studies and support at local prison libraries. Our mission is to help transform lives by offering spiritual guidance, books, and study materials, empowering inmates to grow in their faith and experience redemption. Volunteers play a crucial role in leading Bible studies, organizing resources, and building meaningful relationships with prisoners in need of spiritual support.
The Prophetic Hands Deaf Ministry is set forth to educate, empower and grow individuals within the deaf, hard of hearing or hearing impaired community. The ministry interprets the worship services, activities and community outreach; it also prepares the deaf, hard of hearing or hearing impaired to lead others to Jesus Christ.

Prophetic Hands (Deaf Ministry)

A prayer ministry is a vital part of the church, fostering a spiritual atmosphere where believers can experience the power, peace, and presence of God. Through prayer, we seek to align our hearts with God’s will and intercede for transformation in our lives, church, and world.

Voter Empowerment

The Voter Education and Registration Outreach is purposed to encourage the New Mercies Christian Church congregation and the community to vote. We will actively support and lead key engagement efforts to maximize reach, increase low-voter turnout rates to maximize reach, increase low-voter rates and maintain national/state/regional voter impact. The team will work to develop and build nonpartisan, community partnership and engagement tools to empower effective voting.
